This exhibit showcases a collection of shapes and surfaces marked by grooves and etchings which are neither figurative nor purely abstract. Applied on a medium of canvas or wood, they are created from glues, mortars and pigments reworked in successive layers of sometimes opaque, sometimes transparent, acrylics. White borders are an integral part of these compositions which may make you reminiscent—vestiges of an ancient presence, a token of Time, a tracing of what once was.
