GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • PURCHASING POLICY

Le Centre culturel francophone de Vancouver (CCFV) wants to provide you an enjoyable, simple, efficient and safe buying experience.

 

  • CURRENCY

All prices are in Canadian dollars.

 

  • PAYMENT

The CCFV accepts payments by debit card, credit card (Visa and MC), check and cash.

Payment can be made online, in person or by phone.

Internet transactions are made using Paypal through our website www.lecentreculturel.com

 

  • MEMBERSHIP

Owing to the rules governing Societies our yearly membership fee is not refundable.

Please note that only those who are members of Le Centre culturel at the start date of the activity can benefit from the member rate.

 

  • ORDER CONFIRMATION

You will receive a confirmation email after completing your purchase in person, by phone or online. However, if you do not or you receive an error message, please contact us to see if your order has been processed successfully.

 

  • TICKET COLLECTION

No paper tickets will be sent to you. You will receive a confirmation via email after your purchase, online, in person or by phone. You can print the confirmation or save it to your Smartphone. The day of the event, you will have to present an ID.

 

  • EXCHANGE, REFUND AND CANCELLATION

Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable.

In case of cancellation of a show by the CCFV, tickets will be refunded.

In case of schedule or room changes, the CCFV will try to keep buyers informed of changes or error. However, it is the responsibility of the buyer to verify the information about the event. Thus, the CCFV will issue no refunds or exchanges on print error or, schedule and/or location changes.

 

  • DELAY

20 minutes after the scheduled start time of the concert, the entry is no longer assured.  Access to the concert will be at the discretion of the CCFV team. The box office will close 30 minutes after the show starts.

 

  • PRIVACY POLICY

For transaction related to ticket purchase or membership, The CCFV requires that you voluntarily transmit your contact information. The data collected is used to process your orders, to communicate with you and with your permission, to send you information on the CCFV and services. You always have the option to request not to receive information from the CCFV.

The CCFV do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.

The only exception applies to Yapla, our box office and membership’s management software. The information shared between CCFV and Yapla are used only for the good functioning of ticketing and memberships.

  • FRENCH CLASSES CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Le Centre requires full payment of the class fees prior to class start.

Le Centre reserves the right to discontinue or rearrange classes. 

A class will be cancelled if enrollment proves insufficient.  In such cases, students may request a transfer to another class or a full refund of fees paid.

Student wishing to cancel their enrollment before session starts can do so at the front desk in order to receive a full refund of the session’s fee.

Students wishing to cancel their enrollment after their session starts must do so at least 48 hours before their second scheduled class at the front desk in order to receive a refund.  This refund will be limited to 85% of the fee for the session. (Cancellation well before the second class enables us to enroll from our waiting list).

There will be no refund of class fees after the above-stated period and no transfer to another session will be possible. No pro-rata rate applies for students who begin the class after the commencement date.

Owing to the rules governing Societies our yearly membership fee is not refundable.

A course certificate will be awarded to those students who attend at least 80% of the classes scheduled for their session.

 

  • CAMP VIRGULE CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Le Centre requires the full payment prior to chosen week(s) start.

Le Centre reserves the right to discontinue or rearrange dates and activities of the camp.

In case of cancelation, Le Centre will withhold a 15% administration fee from the registration cost.

One week notice is required for cancellation.

Request for week transfer must be made at least 7 days prior to the initial week start date and will only be granted according to availability.

Cancellation on a shorter notice will require a medical certificate for the same refund.

Owing to the rules governing Societies our yearly membership fee is not refundable.

No pro-rata rate applies for children who miss one or more days within the week in which he is registered.
